PSO Names Arlinda Darst as External Affairs Manager for Southeast Oklahoma

April 3, 2020

Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) has named Arlinda Darst as the company’s new external affairs manager for southeast Oklahoma.  Darst is based in PSO’s Atoka office and responsible for managing the company’s franchises, community engagement, communications and public affairs for the region, which includes six counties in southeast Oklahoma.

Darst began her career in public health in 1995 and held various positions for the Oklahoma Department of Health, including state program director.  Her latest assignment was with Workforce Oklahoma, in which she became intimately familiar with workforce issues in southeast Oklahoma.

“Arlinda’s career experience includes building and maintaining strong, trusting relationships with a variety of community partners and professionals at the local, state and national levels,” said Tiffini Jackson, PSO vice president for external affairs.  “Those experiences will be a valuable asset to the communities she’ll serve across southeast Oklahoma.”

Darst is a native of Antlers and currently resides there with her husband and children.  She officially took over in her new position March 30.

Darst replaces longtime PSO external affairs manager, Harolynn Wofford, who retired earlier this year.
