TULSA, Okla. (March 27, 2024) Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) has been selected as an ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year for Sustained Excellence from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking additional generation resources. The RFP seeks up to 1,500 megawatts of additional power generating capacity to be in service no later than December 15, 2028.

PSO received the Emergency Response Award, one of the highest awards in the electric utility industry, from the Edison Electric Institute (EEI) for its response to the Father’s Day windstorm of 2023.

Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) residential customers will see refunds of interim rates on their monthly bills starting in January.

The lower bills are the result of reduced natural gas prices and PSO’s investments in fuel-free generating facilities. The monthly bill of the typical residential customer who uses 1,100 kilowatt-hours per month will go down $15.53 or 11%.
