Public Service Company of Oklahoma is proud to be a partner in education, particularly in grades pre-K to 12. Through workshops, initiatives and educational resources, we strive to make a difference in the lives and the learning of teachers, students and customers within the Public Service Company of Oklahoma service territory.
Power-Saving Learning Kits for Teachers and Students
To educate the next generation about the value of electricity and importance of conservation, PSO partnered with AM Conservation to create a curriculum for students. This free, hands-on approach teaches science students about energy efficiency and provides tools to help their families save energy and money.

Flying high in the sky -- Safely
Spring breezes rocket kites skyward, but kids and adults who enjoy this timeless pastime need to remember some simple safety rules:
- Never fly a kite near power lines.
- Choose a wide-open field to fly kites.
- If a kite is caught in a power line, leave it there.
- Do not fly kites on rainy days when lightning could use the string as a conductor
to reach the ground.
- Never use wire, tinsel or any metal in kites or string -- they can conduct electricity.
