On September 18, 2023, the Oklahoma Veterans Alliance (OVA) recognized Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) as its 2023 employer of the year at Thursday’s fourth annual OVA benefit dinner.

OVA has previously recognized PSO as a Veteran Employer Champion for four consecutive years, 2019-22.

PSO has nearly 200 veteran employees and a dedicated veteran recruiter. PSO’s Military Veteran Employee Resource Group promotes the roles and contributions of veterans and active-duty military members and serves as a liaison to the veteran and military communities.

"We are honored to receive this recognition," said Tiffini Jackson, Vice President of External Affairs at PSO. "We deeply appreciate the dedication of the veterans who are part of the PSO team. Their commitment to service extends to the work they do every day for our customers and the communities we serve."

The OVA is a partnership of the Community Service Council, the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs, the Tulsa mayor’s office, and area businesses.
